What types of parenting issues do you help parents deal with?

We can help parents address almost any parenting issue/concern; however, our focus is on non-clinical issues. Our approach is to help you not only find the right resources specific to your need, but to help you learn how to analyze and resolve your parenting concerns on your own. We provide critical thinking, options, ideas, fresh perspectives, encouragement and resources. Regardless, no matter what the circumstance is, it all boils down to you, the parent, making the best choices for your situation.

Do you offer online counseling?

NO. This is not a counseling service. If you are seeking online counseling, or feel that you might need to see a counselor for any reason, CoachingMyKids.com would not be the right choice for you.

What is included in a membership?

You receive unlimited access to your personal Parent Coach by phone and through your password-protected Member Page. In addition, you will receive a personal plan developed specifically for you in the area of your parenting interest(s), hand-selected educational materials, helpful daily parenting tips, a personal assistant service that can help you with almost any daily task in your life, a family health information center that has the best resources available to you on any health issue for the entire family...and so much more.

Is this service limited to only parents with young children (infants and toddlers)?

NO. CoachingMyKids.com has coaches that are prepared to work with any parent regarding any specific need or concern.

How often will my personal Parent Coach contact me?

As often as needed. For some people this is once a month, for others it is every day. You and your coach will determine how much contact you need, then set up your scheduled appointments. Our special software program allows you and your coach to "chat live", one-on-one with each other through the Internet, making the time you spend with your coach real-time interaction.

Is my personal information confidential?

Yes! Only your coach and his/her supervisor have access to your information. Moreover, CoachingMyKids.com does not, and never will, share or sell its clients' information for use by other companies.

Who are the Coaches?

The majority of Coaching My Kids coaches hold advanced degrees, many of whom are licensed. Coaches have a minimum of three years’ experience in a relevant specialty and have received specialized coaching training.

How do I know if I would be a good candidate to have a Parent Coach?

This service is right for you if you identify with any of the following:


  • You are looking for support to couple with your existing efforts to set and reach your parenting goals, which can boost your efforts and results to the next level.

  • You have tried other programs and services to improve your current situation and still don’t feel that you have reached your goals.
  •  

  • You like a high level of personal attention. You feel that "cookie cutter" or "canned approaches" don’t work for you.
  •  

  • You have read all the books, searched the Internet, talked with family, and still feel like you are not exactly sure how to resolve your current issue, or even how to get started.
  •  

  • You need help improving your current life situation in a way that fits conveniently and easily into your busy schedule without taking significant time away from other priorities in your life, and you like using the Internet!
  •  

  • You want to be able to take steps to improve your parenting without having to leave your home or office.
  •  

  • You like the idea of having a personal expert "on call" when you have the need.

How long can I be a member?

As long as you feel we provide you value! Your membership is on a month-by-month basis. We have no long-term contracts, and you may cancel your membership at any time with no penalties.

Can I have my spouse join on my membership, and/or do you have a family membership?

At this point, each membership is separate, so you and your spouse would have to join individually and each pay the monthly fee. We are working on couple or family memberships, but they are not available at this time.
