Outline for the parent education classes
Session topics are listed below in the order that they are covered. The time frame allowed to accomplish this is nine hours of class time. Each section can stand alone in regard to the information that is designed for the participants. The information is present through the following format: Lecture, Activities, Discussion, Stories and Reading.
Content:
- Understanding children’s behavior
- Understanding more about your child and Yourself as a Parent
- Encouragement- Building your children’s confience and feelings of self-worth
- Communication skills with your children
- Natural and Logical Consequences a method of discipline that develops responsibility
